EMOTIONS – SADNESS

Emotions influence the way we live and interact with others, but if I would ask you to define what are emotions, I believe that it would be hard to express them in words. Emotions have something in common – they all come from inside; from within you.

Let’s take a glance at these emotions: happiness, sadness, fear, disgust, anger and surprise. These emotions can be combined, and the result is different feelings. Emotions are the colour of your life.

As an opposite to happiness, there is the emotion of sadness, which can be associated with feelings such as disappointment, grief, hopelessness, disinterest. Sadness can lead to negative thoughts, which we all know, will attract more and more negative thoughts.

Everyone goes through hard, difficult times sometimes. Of course, some days are tougher than others, but always be prepared, ready to feel better, positive again.

Unfortunately, the lack of cultural awareness around mental health makes people unable to distinguish between sadness and depression. Remember: sadness is temporary, you can get over it. To let go of sadness, when the time is right means to allow ourselves to gain new perspectives.
